History of REB Architects
REB Architects, PLLC was founded in 2011 by Robert E. Byrge. Robert gained experience through service with other well established architectural firms in Central Kentucky, including David R. Snapp & Associates. Robert was the Principal Architect of the Kentucky branch office of the firm, locally known as Snapp & Associates, Inc. Emily Byrge joined Snapp & Associates in 2004 as an architectural intern under Robert. When REB Architects was formed through the purchase of the local branch of Snapp & Associates, Emily joined the staff in the transition.
In 2021, Emily became a principal architect and minority owner of the firm. As Robert neared retirement, Emily’s role and shares within the firm increased to enable him to step back. While Robert maintained an interest in the firm, Emily was administratively and architecturally in control of the firm in early 2024. In June 2024, Robert was able to fully retire knowing the legacy of the firm he built would continue providing the highest quality services that our clients have come to know.
