LDS Glasgow church received several much-needed improvements including an elevator addition, renovation of the clerk’s office, a new front lobby, ADA parking spaces, and automatic door openers on egress doors.
The biggest obstacle of this project involved installing an elevator on the side of the building that was also aesthetically pleasing. After researching both the historical configuration of towers found on ecclesiastical buildings and exterior building materials, the successful design mimics the appearance of a bell tower at the front of the building while the selected stone material closely resembles the color of the existing brick.
