Each month, REB Architects will feature one of our projects to showcase the collaborative efforts and design solutions that help strengthen our communities.
This month’s spotlight highlights Sutton’s Landing, a supportive housing development in Maysville, Kentucky, created in partnership with The Model Group and Welcome House. REB Architects, PLLC, was selected to collaborate on the 9% Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) application for this project, designed to provide stable, high-quality housing for individuals and families.
Following a series of collaborative design discussions, the project was officially named Sutton’s Landing. The LIHTC application was submitted in September and awarded funding in early 2023.
The development includes ten new buildings: nine cottage-style residential buildings and one clubhouse, together offering 40 total units—22 one-bedroom, 12 two-bedroom, and 6 three-bedroom homes. The clubhouse serves as the community’s hub and features:
• A demonstration kitchen and community room with seating for up to 36
• A business center for residents
• Leasing and rentable office spaces
• Separate men’s and women’s restrooms
• Maintenance space and laundry facilities
We look forward to celebrating the completion of Sutton’s Landing with a ribbon-cutting ceremony in the near future!
